Scope Club of Wynnum is seeking nominations for people who are over 18 yrs old. Someone who is community minded, helpful, a volunteer who excels above their normal duties? Who never expects recognition for their efforts!

 | Scope Australia Day Award |

Scope Club of Wynnum presented Bev Mitchell with the Scope Australia Day Award at the Australia Day Breakfast on the Wynnum foreshore. The award is presented for outstanding voluntary service to the community. Bev Mitchell is well known around the Bayside for her work with "Aid and Recreational Association for the Disabled" (ARAD). ARAD is a volunteer organization setup to provide support, assistance and respite for physically and intellectually disabled people and their families.
Congratulations Bev!

 Each year on Australia Day the Scope Club of Wynnum presents an award to a deserving member of the local community, and now is the time for you or your organisation to nominate a deserving person nominations close this coming Friday 16th January. Last years winner was Joe Byrne (pictured) for his 20 years of voluntary service to the Bayside United Soccer Club.
THE SCOPE AUSTRALIA DAY AWARD is presented to a person who has served the local community as a VOLUNTEER, above and beyond their normal duties. This is someone who deserves to be recognised for their ongoing commitment to their cause, maybe over many years. Perhaps you or your organisation knows someone like this - Well now is the opportunity to thank them for all their hard work.
