This christams holidays Linx youth space has some awesome activities and workshops for young people aged 12-25. Some of these activities are: movies, drawing and photomanipulation workshop, Ten Pin Bowling, Visit Local art Galleries, DJ Workshop, ice skating, a video project, going to the Plantation for a swim and barbie. Caltex would like to invite you to a fun filled day for all the family. Tracey and Michael, as seen on Network 10’s In the Box, Humphrey B Bear, and Australia’s funkiest tap dance group, Raw Metal will all be there.
Enjoy refinery bus tours, historical displays, free children’s rides, Hands on Art craft workshops for children, singing and musical performances by more than 200 children representing eight local primary and secondary schools, roving entertainers and much more.
You will also have the chance to meet Caltex Racing’s Russel Ingall and his V8 Supercar as well as teams from Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, Queensland Police and Brisbane Water Police.

Live Wire - Chill Out is a program by Brisbane City Councill and Black Diamonds in conjunction with BABI Youth Services and Winnam ATSI Corp. The Event will be on Sunday the 18th of January, 11am to 4pm and includes Live music, Arts and Culture including traditional dancing, face painting, body art and craft activities. There are also sports and recreation activities, rides, food and information stalls.
The event will be held at George Clayton Park on the Wynnum Foreshore.
A free shuttle bus to the event will be running from Wynnum North Train Station, Wynnum Plaza and Manly Train Station.

Wynnum Wipeout is a school holiday program aimed at young people in grades 6-12 from the Bayside area. Wynnum Wipeout is based at Wynnum State High School, Peel Street, Manly and organises fun activities for the young people including a trip to Dreamworld. The programs run from Monday, January 13 until Friday, January 18 2003. Get all details at the web site www.wynnumwipeout.com
It is organised by the Bayside Christian Churches and is a ministry of the Scripture Union of Qld in cooperation with Wynnum & Wynnum North High Schools.
Our annual Christams dance for the entire family will be held on Friday Night the 20th of December at the Wynnum Municipal Hall Bay Terrace. A full buffet dinner will be served along with some floorshows and plenty of General dancing. Time: 7.00pm - 11pm. Booking are essential. Adults $20 and Children $15. For Children: Manly Harbour Village Halloween Street Party
Come join Manly Harbour Village annual Halloween Street Party on Saturday 26 October.

Wizards, Warlocks, Witches and Goblins will converge on Cambridge Parade in Manly for the night-time festival. Children & adults are invited to come in costume and join the Parade with prizes for the best costume.
The Parade will assemble at 6 pm from Melville Terrace adjacent to Manly RSL, and proceed at dusk along Cambridge Parade to the Royal Esplanade. There is a jam-packed array of entertainment featuring:
Street performers and musicians, Wynnum Herald performance stage, Night markets stalls, Children’s rides including Ferris Wheel, and FREE face painting. Brisbane City Council is supporting the event as part of their Suburban Concerts Program.
How to get there - Manly Harbour Village is just 25 minutes from Downtown Brisbane and is within easy walking distance of Manly railway station. Parking is available adjacent to the Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club (Manly Northern Car Park).
Black Diamonds and Winnam ATSI Corporation organised a Get Active Day that gave participants the opportunity to try different sports, recreational activities and learn more about Indigenous culture. The event was held at George Clayton Park, Lower Esplanade with a host of activities on offer including canoeing, soccer, touch football rockclimbing, softball, boomerang painting, Life Be In It games, traditional dancing and a BBQ.

For Children: Carols on the bay
On Saturday 21st December the Bayside Spring Festival will present their second Carols on the Bay night. Santa will be a special guest along with Mrs Claus who will tell the children a Christmas Story. The evening will commence at 7.00 p.m. and finish at 9.00 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display. Local singers and dancers will perform all your favourite Christmas Carols both old and new.
The Moreton Bay Girl Guides are looking for leaders. If you like working with children, organising games and going on camps why not give Helen a call on 3893 1479. Guides meet on Wednesday 6pm to 8pm, Brownies 4pm to 6pm at 150 Tingal Rd Wynnum, next door to the RSL.
