As usual I will be organising a clean-up of the mangroves at Elanora Park off Granada Street Wynnum North on Clean Up Australia Day Sunday March 3. Low tide is early this year so my clean-up will start at 6.15 am and continue until 8.15 am.
Gloves and bags are supplied but bring gumboots, sunscreen, hat, water and mosquito repellent.
The mangroves are great trappers of rubbish and there will be plenty to collect.
The area we cover extends from the mangroves in front of the Leagues Club bowls club, as far north as we have people to assist.
