Staff at Caltex have asked me to make my office a drop off venue for their clothing drive over the next 2 months. Caltex Community Liason Manager Mrs Toni Dugdale says she encourages members of the public to donate any female business suits, shoes and accessories (hand bags, scarves, necklaces etc) they no longer have use for. These business suits will be presented to Fitted for Work, a volunteer based organisation committed to helping long-term unemployed and disadvantaged women maintain employment and achieve financial independence.
The organisation offers business clothing, accessories, presentation and interview skills as well as resume advice, building self-confidence, communication skills, money management all assisting women on their path to success and self-sufficiency.
