The Wynnum Wading Pool Wynnum Wading Pool is the perfect natural bathing experience. The pool was built in 1931 by unemployed men on relief work. Great seaside area to cool off. Allways an ocean breeze during the summer heat. This park has all facilities including a large changing block and the pool itself is well maintained. If the tide is high you can stroll over to Pandanus Beach for an ocean dip. A new $770,000 playground Water Park was opened on the 8th of May 2004 right next to the Wading Pool.

Next time your sweltering come to the Wynnum Wading Pool where you are guaranteed a swim, regardless of the tide.

A $6.5 million pool upgrade was carried out in 2008, the Wynnum Wading Pool is now filtered with sandy bottom.
